চট্টগ্রাম চিড়িয়াখানা বাংলাদেশের চট্টগ্রাম ফয়েজ লেকে অবস্থিত একটি চিড়িয়াখানা।

১৯৮৮ সালে চট্টগ্রাম জেলা প্রশাসক এম এ মান্নান এবং চট্টগ্রামের অন্যান্য অভিজাত 

ব্যক্তিবর্গগণ প্রাথমিকভাবে ফয়েজ লেকে চিত্তবিনোদন, শিক্ষা এবং গবেষণার উদ্দেশ্যে

চিড়িয়াখানা স্থাপনের উদ্যোগ নেয় পরবর্তিতে ১৯৮৯ সালের ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি এই

চিড়িয়াখানাসাধারণের জন্যে উন্মুক্ত করা হয়।বর্তমানে এখানে প্রায় ৬৭ এর অধিক

স্তন্যপায়ী, পাখি এবং সরীসৃপ প্রাণী রয়েছে।


History: In 1988 The Deputy Commissioner, Chittagong, 

Mr.M.A.Mannan and some other elites of Chittagong,

primarily took initiative to establish a private Zoo at Foy’s 

lake, chittagong for the purpose of Recreation,Education 

and Research on zoo animals which ultimately came 

into being on the 28th days of February 1989 and thereafter 

it was opened for the visitors.Area: Initially 4.90 acres of 

land was allocated by the Government, Peoples Republic of 

Bangladesh, which afterwards increased to 6 acres. The 

zoo authority is trying to increase the same. This area is hilly 

and very gently sloping.
